The Shadow of Your Smile (La sombra de tu sonrisa) is a song composed by Johnny Mandel in 1965, with lyrics by Paul Francis Webster, for the film "The Sandpiper" (Castillos en la arena in Spain, and Almas en conflicto in Hispaniamerica) The song won the Oscar for Best Original Song and the Grammy Award for Best Song of that year.
